Gather round, it’s Trek time…

Trek and Bontrager have been trying very hard over the last couple of years and particularly for 09 to make their stuff the best, after extensively riding the 08 Fuel EX I can say the plan is working, in particular Trek’s new rear suspension design which they are rapidly rolling out on all other full suspension models it is so good, this will be the 4th by the time it hit’s the shops. The new Trek Top Fuel 9.9SL with Trek’s Active Braking Point, Full Floater and carbon frame is seen bellow in carbon/red. I noticed 2 odd bits of kit not usually seen on Trek’s, firstly the DT Swiss rear shock, which is probably to save weight, and the FSA crankset, Bontrager makes its own very light cranksets so it is probably there so a BB30 can be used. The other new Bontrager stuff on both bikes bellow looks really nice. In other news, swarms of new Sid’s are taking over everywhere, even the new Giant Anthem X has been spotted with the Sid. The Fuel EX carbon also got a few tweaks but nothing major.
