Head For The Hills in Dorking had a 2009 Trek 69er SS in for a customer today. It looked so nice I just had to take a few photos. Trek likes to leave the 29er side of things to Gary Fisher. So Trek doesn't look too boring or opposed to alternative wheel sizes they make a range of 69er bikes. Personally I think 69er and 650B specific bikes are pointless, I can see why they would be good modifications to 26in bikes but otherwise definitely not. This particular 69er has some neat graphics and components that make it a really sweet bike. For some reason Trek 69ers are really popular here...I see loads of them out on the trails.

A new internal cam Bontrager skewer, similar to the excellent Campagnolo and Fulcrum ones…
