Autumn is indeed here

I don’t usually take autumn to be when all the nice colours start appearing on the leaves as they begin to drop. No, autumn is when I go I go out for a ride on a Sunday and am faced with mile after mile of rain, wind, mud and more water dripping out my shoes than spray coming off the tires. Yep, it’s autumn in the UK and I love it! When I got off the bike I couldn’t see a single part of it for the black slop I’d been riding through and that goes for me too, unfortunately when I got back to the bike with a camera most of it had washed off in the rain. I’m particularly thankful for the mud tires and Shimano Alfine which both helped me to go at the same speed I would normally in the dry.
