Roscoe

Head For The Hills in Dorking built up their Gary Fisher Roscoe I test bike a few weeks ago. Thought I’d pop in and take it out for a few minutes, only around town but fortunately Dorking isn’t exactly flat. Firstly the suspension, it felt great, much better than the Hifi seat stay pivot and Horst Link type suspension on other bikes. The Active Braking Pivot doing its magic is very noticeable. All the Roscoe’s come with the Dual Rate Control Valve shock which is exclusive to Fisher and opens a second air chamber after 40% of the travel giving better progression through the travel. I was very impressed by the high volume Bontrager XDX tires, probably the first Bontrager tire I would like to use myself. This is a major step forward for Fisher, whilst still maintaining their great ride position and geometry.
